The Legend of Bukka Bukka
Bukka Bukka is the mascot of Buff Divers. He goes along on all our trips even if Dale and Fluffy can’t go. He is the original ambassador for nude recreation. After all, he is a naked chicken!
Bukka Bukka loves to show up in someone’s wetsuit, attached to someone’s tank, or even taking a nap in someone’s bed.
Bukka Bukka made his first appearance with Buff Divers on the Caribbean Explorer in St. Maartin many years ago. He dove with us, he ate with us, he even slept with us.
Anyone who came up with Bukka Bukka attached to their tank had to do two things: pass him off on the next dive; and do the “chicken dance” in the salon right before dinner.
Since then Bukka Bukka has been to the Manta Resort in Belize where he was kidnapped by the desperado, The Land Shark, and held for a ransom of 1,000 sand dollars. He then traveled to the Cayman Islands, Guanaja, South Caicos, and the Bahamas. Everywhere he goes, he leaves a tale of adventure! 
When Bukka Bukka is not traveling around the world, he is at home in Texas at Lone Star Resort. You never know when and where he’s liable to show up on the resort grounds. He recently met an attractive female pink flamingo that he became very attached to. It has taken some coaxing to get him to leave the resort to travel since then.
